After moving to Louisiana, away from friends and family in Detroit, this seemed an apt description for where we were. Now that we're in Texas it's even more appropriate.

Still plugging away...
OK. It's getting pretty close to Christmas now, and I'm still attempting to take on more stuff to do. We are now hosting a Christmas Open House for Matt's fellow employees on Saturday and I volunteered to create placards for a church function this Wednesday. Oh yeah, and I'm still working on Christmas gifts... and finishing the 100 Christmas cards we need to send out... soon. The cards at least are finished. We're just tweaking our newsletter and waiting for the photos I ordered to come in. And we have to sign and address them all. Yikes!
I'm a stay-at-home mom with two wonderful little girls - 5 years and almost 2 years old - who manage to keep me much busier than I thought they would when I first considered staying home with them. Not that I would trade it for anything. However, I was under the misguided notion that now that I was no longer working (HA!) I could get a lot more crafting done. How silly of me. I also have an adorable husband, who, while he may not understand, at least tolerates my paper crafting insanity.
