For this challenge I used Jami Bova's Chicken Dumpling stamp set from 2RedBananas. I don't know why, but to me ribbon and baby stuff just seem to go together. I stamped the image on yellow Basic Grey DP and colored it with watercolor pencils and a Inkssentials white pen. All of the other DP is from "Just the Girls" by Lasting Impressions. The mat was made using the Nestabilities Label 1 die. I used some ribbon scraps to make the "flower", and the buttons are all by Junkitz.
I have also included a card I made for Ashton's birthday. I didn't use any DP on this one, just ribbon (makes it perfect for this challenge, doesn't it?) I used my Nestabilities Label 1 die on a folded piece of cardstock to make the card base. Then just covered it with scraps of ribbon and added a monkey image (Stampendous) and sentiment (My Sentiments Exactly).
I also wanted to include a mini baby album I made using my new Zutter Bind-it-All. I love this machine! This project used a lot of ribbon, so it also fits the theme of this week's challenge. All of the DP is by Making Memories.
I love using ribbon. It just seems to finish a project. I hope you join us in this week's challenge. Be sure to go to 2RedBananas' blog for more info and to see the other DT members' samples.
Wendy - you have been BUSY! I think it's funny that we both did a ribbon background. I love that you made your card with the nestie. Beautiful baby album too!
