This week's Banana Split Sunday Challenge from 2RedBananas is to use GLITTER. How fun is that? Plus, this week there will be a prize awarded to one random participant.
Even if you don't use loose glitter, there are so many other glittery papercrafting elements out there. I'm also participating in Prairie Paper and Ink's Friday Sketch challenge, because I just can't resist a good sketch. Be sure to go to 2RB's blog for more information and to see all of the DT's sparkly samples.
I used three different glittery products on this card, but I don't think the photo really shows the glitter very well.
The card base is kraft paper and all of the DP used is from My Minds Eye Simply Delightful collection. I inked all of the edges with Chestnut Roan Chalk Ink. The girl image is from 2RB's stamp set called A Spring Thing and it's stamped on watercolor paper and colored with watercolor pencils and some Sakura Stardust ink. There is also Stardust ink on the large flower paper and Stickles on the blue flower paper. The glittery letter stickers are from Making Memories, and the brown pearls are by Kaiser Craft.
Hope you try out 2RB's challenge this week and let your glitter shine! Here are all of the DT members who have samples for this week's challenge:
