STRIPES & DOTS:
The 2RedBananas Banana Split Sunday Challenge for this week is to use both stripes and dots on your project. Go to 2RB's blog to participate in the challenge and to see the Design Teams' samples.
This card has a white CS base with a block of polka dot paper and a smaller block of striped paper from the Baby Boy Collection by Sharon Ann.
The image and sentiment are from 2RedBananas' stamp set Caring Critters. It's stamped on watercolor paper and colored with watercolor pencils and Stardust pens. I cut it out using the Nesties Label 4 die. I also added some sage velvet ric rac and faux suede leaves.
Don't forget to go to 2RB's blog to participate in this week's challenge. Also, check back Monday because 2RedBananas will be having it's Week of Peeks, where the DT members show samples using the soon-to-be-released stamp sets, which will be available on 2RB beginning September 14th.
