This week's 2RedBananas Banana Split Challenge is to make a bag, box or wrapping of some kind. There will be a Pink Paislee goodie bag given to one random participant, so be sure to go to 2RB's blog to enter your project and see the samples by the DT members.
I have had a cute wooden box that looked like a purse for a while and this was just the encouragement I needed to finally do something with it.

I spray painted the "purse" black and covered it with DP from the Boo to You collection by My Mind's Eye using Mod Podge. I also adhered some of the coordinating die cuts. I tied a variety of ribbon on one side of the handle. The image on the tag is Jack-O-Lantern Penny from 2RedBananas. She was stamped with StazOn and colored with watercolor pencils.
This project came together really quickly, which had me asking myself why I hadn't done it sooner. I have another box like this that might need to be covered with Christmas paper... I hope you'll join the Bananas in this week's 2RB challenge. You'll be surprised how easy it is to use your scrapping and stamping supplies to make the perfect wrapping or box for that special gift.
